Hi! My name is Liz, and I am a senior at the University of California, Berkeley, where I study Public Health and Global Poverty and Practice. The interplay of the two have contributed to my interest in global health and health equity. From July to August, for a period of 6 weeks, I will be interning with the Uganda Development and Health Associates in Iganga, Uganda, and hope to share my thoughts and experiences there using this blog. I cannot promise that my compositions will be coherent and sensible, but I can promise that they will be sincere and honest reflections of my time in Uganda learning about the nature of poverty work, and the challenges posed by such work.
(If need be, I can be reached at lizcho@berkeley.edu.)
